BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME To Film Nashville Concert For Upcoming DVD
June 12, 2008Raleigh, North Carolina-based progressive metalcore quintet BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME will film its August 2 concert at Rocket Town in Nashville, Tennessee for a forthcoming DVD. "We will be playing two sets (one 'Colors' [BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME's latest album] set, and one 'other songs' set)," the band says. "Soon a website will be available for all of you [the fans] to vote on which songs you want to hear and see for the second set."
The group added, "For our DVD show, we are going to do a limited run of 'Colors' t-shirts. We want to do a shirt for each song (eight shirts total) We want YOU to design these shirts for us. Send any ideas or art to [email protected]. We are very excited to see what you all come up with!"
Released on September 18, 2007 via Victory Records, "Colors" was previously described by BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME as "a 65-minute opus of non-stop pummeling beautiful music. We have described this release as 'adult contemporary death prog metal.'"
"Colors" sold 12,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 57 on The Billboard 200 chart.
